ComputerMD provides remote technical support and repair services for computer software and hardware. The specific services to be performed will be agreed upon with you prior to the commencement of any work.

3. Customer Responsibilities

  • Authorization: You represent that you are over the age of 18 and are the owner or authorized user of the computer being serviced.
  • Data Backup: You are solely responsible for backing up all data, information, and software on your computer and storage media before we begin any service. ComputerMD is not liable for any loss, alteration, or corruption of data
  • System Information: You agree to provide accurate and complete information about your computer system and the issues you are experiencing.

4. Remote Access

  • By using our services, you grant ComputerMD permission to remotely access your computer via a secure connection to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • You understand that during a remote session, our technician may download and use software, gather system data, and modify your computer settings.

5. Payment and Fees

  • Fees for services will be communicated to you and agreed upon before any work begins.
  • Payment is due upon completion of services, unless otherwise agreed. Unpaid devices may be held until payment is received in full.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COMPUTERMD’S SERVICES AND ANY SOFTWARE USED ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
  • ComputerMD’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the services provided shall be limited to the amount you paid for those specific services. In no event shall ComputerMD be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits.

7. General Provisions

  • Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the state where ComputerMD is established, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
  • Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Your continued use of our services after any change constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
  • Termination: We may terminate or suspend your access to our services at any time, without notice, for conduct we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to our business or other users.
